Baba’s life was one of unity. He lived to unite the different castes and creeds together as one family and unite every person with God. He saw no difference between one religion and another, saying often, “Subka Malik Ek,” “One God governs all.”

Sai baba also known as Shirdi Sai Baba is an Indian spiritual leader and is regarded by his devotees as a saint, a fakir, a satguru and an incarnation (avatar) of God. He begets wisdom in his devotees and guides them towards the path of God and self realization. He is revered by both his Hindu and Muslim devotees during, as well as after his life.Sai Baba's date of birth and his birthplace remains unknown and is debatable due to lack of evidence and no definitive information exists to prove it and his real name is also unknown. The name 'Sai' was given to him by Mhalsapati when he arrived at Shirdi, a town now in the west Indian state of Maharashtra. The word 'Sai' refers to a religious mendicant but can also mean 'God'baba was first noticed in the outskirts of the village Shirdi, seated under a ‘neem’ (margosa) tree, about the year 1854. However, even this date is not definitely noted. Sai Baba of these younger days remained a stranger staying under the neem tree for some time and then suddenly he left Shirdi to come back again sometime in 1858, and stayed in Shirdi till his Samadhi on 15th October,1918.
